#10 Foundation is recommended for all dogs to support normal health and vitality. Food sources for all of us " human, horse and dog alike " have declined in richness and diversity, so there is a need to replace basic, vital nutrients with a quality, well-rounded foundational product. #10 Foundation does just this for dogs, and is the base upon which all Silver Lining canine formulas are built. In other words, always use #10 Foundation, and if your dog needs help with specific issues, add the other formulas as required.
The exception to this rule is #20 Keep Cool which will be most effective when used alone.
