Minimize scarring and say goodbye to proud flesh with #16 Power Dust, and potentially even skip stitches for wounds that would otherwise need them. This poultice mix is nothing short of incredible and works on old as well as fresh wounds.
Recommended use for a fresh wound is to sprinkle the dry poultice mix directly on the open wound and then wrap with a vet wrap. Leave it covered for 12 hours and then remove the bandage and wipe with a clean cloth. Reapply the poultice powder and leave exposed to the open air for 12 hours. Continue this cycle until the wound is healed.
If the wound is dry or scabbed over, you can make a poultice by mixing a small amount of water to a quantity of the powder and apply the poultice directly to the wound and wrapping with a sweat bandage. This too should be done for 12 hours on and then 12 hours off with the dry powder put on the wound while the bandage is off.
Each bag of #16 Power Dust contains approximately 60 tablespoons. Inside you’ll find a precise, consistent, and powdered blend of the following herbs (in alphabetical order): Boneset, Capsaicin, Comfrey, Flax Seed, Golden Seal, Lobelia, Plantain, Shepherds Purse, Slippery Elm, and Yarrow.
