I am very grateful to know that there is a great herbal formula for dogs. We have a 1 year old female Labrador Retriever. She is very hyper and athletic. My husband and I are in the process of training her as a water bird dog. With the Silver Lining Herbs she has gained her proper weight, has a beautiful black coat and just looks extremely healthy. My dog has done very well with Silver Lining [#10 Foundation and #18 Joint Support]. I've used it for about 2 yrs now and I think for a 12 yr old dog she does amazing. We walk every day, she goes fishing with us, goes up & down stairs good and I'm pretty sure we owe that to Silver Lining. Yoda is another Silver Lining Canine success story. At six weeks old Yoda was much smaller than his litter mates and seemed not quite right. The vet said he had water on his brain, was obviously brain damaged and had little chance of survival. He recommended euthanasia. My friend Gwen asked for the puppy to try to save him, she came to me for help. #18 K-9 JOINT SUPPORT
For Janus, the dog, we had some issued to begin with because she wouldn''t eat it. I guess she was smelling it in her regular food and refusing. So, I went out and bought some stew-type canned food and mixed the herbs in that and gave that to her besides her kibble. That did the trick. Janus has been getting the Joint Support for less than a week. This morning I noticed she was feeling better. We have a long curved staircase in our house that she has quite a bit of trouble with, especially going down. This morning she was waiting at the top of the stairs for me when I got up and when I came close she almost ran down the stairs ahead of me. Usually she takes one stair at a time, going very slowly and grunting as she goes. It must have been quite painful for her, but not today. This is excellent news. Janus is 13 this spring and is the last surviving dog of her litter of 12. She''s been showing hip problems for a few years now and I''ve had her on anti-inflammatory and recovery for a while. The previous treatment was pretty good, but early indications show the Joint Support to be better. That makes me feel much better that she''s feeling better.

We are currently using #19 Circulatory Support, #24 Immune Support, and #37 Kidney Support on our doggie, Yonah, who has just recently had a growth that was malignant removed off of her shoulder. I have two Basenjis. Two years ago my girl started to cough. I thought it was kennel cough, so did the vet. Medication made her worse and four types later she was coughing so much that she could not do anything but lay on the floor. I took her to a lung specialist where they put a camera down her throat and found that she had permanent lung damage. After three different vets and no medications that worked, her cough almost made her incapacitated and I was considering putting her down. A friend of mine suggested I try homeopathic remedies. Almost 3 years ago my Welsh Corgi spent 6 days in intensive care and was diagnosed with an auto-immune induced anemia. He struggled with a low white blood cell count and other infections. I have dog named Joe that is alive today because of Silver Lining Herbs. One day Joe became deathly ill, I was also sick so my friend took him to the vet on Monday. I told them I thought he might have gotten a dried up dead frog, toad poisoning. At the vets he would eat nothing and he passed nothing. On IV fluids and very ill he finally passed a frog body on Thursday, and it was then discovered that he could not eat because he had ripped his throat such that food and water went into his lungs. They could not fix it, so they called to ask to euthanize the puppy.....I said send him home.
They were so sure he would die they would not send antibiotics. Well I sat with this sick puppy on my lap and let him lick lamb baby food mixed with #24 K-9 Immune Support and #25 K-9 INF-X off my finger. In about a week he started to drink a little water, a week later he started picking at dry food. At that time he had the nick name ''Dead Dog Walken'' because he was soooooooo thin. CUSTOM COMBINATION
It was calving season, and I was getting some of the cows and calves in the corral to get a better look at some of them. One of the cows had hidden her calf in the brush, so I and my wife were down looking for the calf when one of my children came looking for us. She said we had a cow stuck in the panel at the corral, so we went to see what the problem was.
When we got there we found one of the heifers that we had put in the corrals, (which were made out of portable panels) had put her head through one of the feeder panels and began pushing until she had pushed the panels into a long diamond shaped pen, which had then tipped over on her head and she was laying on the panel that her head was through. She had been in this predicament for about an hour when we got to her and she was about dead. We hurried and got the back hoe and picked her off from the panel and got her lying upright, but she could not get up. I and my brother considered just butchering her and salvaging the meat but I hated to orphan the calf so I decided to try to save her.
I ran into Mickey the following evening and told him what had happened and asked if he had anything that would help her. He said he thought he did and wanted to know if I wanted it that night or if I wanted to wait until morning. I told him that morning would be fine.
As it was raining and quite cold I covered her with a tarp that night to try to keep her body heat regulated, and the next morning I went to Mickey''s office and picked up some herbs that he special mixed for me. I went directly home and mixed up a pretty good dose and pasted the cow that morning and again that night. The next morning, which was the third day after the initial accident, the heifer was up when I went out to feed. Although she has a stiff neck she is going to be fine, and raise me a calf this year.
