Herbs are assimilated at the cellular level as they enter the body and travel throughout the system. The benefits of a complete and healthy diet may take 30-90 days to recognize.
Our horse line products come in a powder form. They are best given in the grain as a top dressing.
Most horses are excited about getting the herbs, but there are those who do not particularly care for them at first. If you will put the herbs in front of them as a top dressing and walk away, they will generally be gone when you come back. Using a lesser amount for a few days and gradually increase until recommended amount is achieved is also a good way to get your horse to get the herbs. You can also mix the herbal products with water to create a paste and paste them orally with a large syringe for a few days until they start getting accustomed to them.
Herbs are the purest form of vitamins and minerals and the easiest assimilated, therefore they will do a magnificent job to maintain your animals’ natural health if they are the only product you choose to use.
No we don’t. We have not seen an advantage in doing a loading dose, and feel in many cases animals do better this way.

"My horse has a slight case of heaves when in the barn where it is dusty from hay in the winter. He started his usual dry jack and I thought to try him on respiratory support not really thinking it would do much. I don’t hear him cough hardly at all anymore so it must be working. He has a slight case and it’s almost made it disappear in less than a month!! Impressed."
"The poor abused gelding given to me presented with pneumonia after a cross country trailer ride with previous owner. He wheeled, had no stamina at 23 years old. The Respetory from Silver Lining herbs eliminated that and he now will canter around the field."

"We have an older horse who constantly gets a dry cough from dust while eating grass, any hay dust and is just so sensitive. Since we have had him on the respiratory support for about a year he hasn’t seemed to have an issue again yet! I’m a believer!"

"I started my horse on the Respiratory supplement this summer for his breathing. I bought a Nebulizer at the same time and used it 3x a week. It took a couple months for him to show improvement, but I haven't used the Nebulizer for 2 months now, so the Respiratory is definitely working! Thank you!"
"Respiratory support has helped my mare with equine asthma. She had a difficult time breathing and coughing when certain weeds blossomed. I started her on Respiratory support this past summer and her coughing decreased and her breathing eased. I am also going to try her on immune support next summer"
