I have a thoroughbred who has always been very sensitive skinned, hating to be brushed with even the softest bristle brush. A curry comb needed to get mud off was torture for him, yet he is constantly muddy. I stumbled upon this product when looking at the conditions guide for another horse and thought I’d give it a try to see if it could help him. After just one week he is already significantly more comfortable and will stand still with a leg cocked to be brushed. No more wiggling around, hollowing out his back, or raising his back legs hating every second. Just one week!! Love it.

I bought a coming 4 yr old half Arab last fall, sight unseen from out of state. I sent him to a trainer near his home farm for one month to break him. The trainer was having issues with sensitivity, mouth ulcers, and general discomfort. He arrived at my farm and I noticed in addition to all that, he hated being touched/groomed. I put him on the #33 HRP and turned him out. After completing his first bag, he is a pocket pony - loves to be scratched, groomed and very interested in what is going on. He is no longer temperamental with the other horses but plays all day. We are now getting ready for show season and I am sure he will be able to take it all in stride.
