Cardiovascular Support for Horses was designed to support the heart and lungs of the horse to maintain normal recovery from exercise. This herbal combination may be beneficial in:
- Maximizing performance of race, endurance, and event horses
- Supporting normal recovery time after strenuous activity
- Maintaining normal stamina and endurance
- Supporting normal heart function
- Too easily over-exerted
- General weakness
Note: This herbal combination contains Black Cohosh and should not be used on mares that are in the third trimester of pregnancy as this may cause hemorrhage during foaling.
Hawthorn
Used to help protect against heart disease and help control high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Both animal and human studies suggest hawthorn increases coronary artery blood flow, improves circulation, and lowers blood pressure. High in Vitamin C, B vitamins, flavonoids and beta-carotene.
Burdock
A great tissue cleanser and remover of toxins (blood purifier), anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor. Contains copper, iodine, iron, protein, silicon, sulfur, zinc. Vitamins A, B-complex, C, E and P (flavonoids)
Catnip
Improves circulation, regulates blood pressure, and calms nerves.
Eleuthero
Supports the natural detoxification processes of the liver. Helps boost the body's immune system and has also been found effective in helping the liver process harmful toxins, including sodium barbital, alcohol, and tetanus toxin. An adaptogen herb.
Hops
Supports flavonoid molecules that help hormones work better in the body.
Psyllium
